One Replacement MINI Radiator Expansion Coolant Water Bottle Cap for:MINI ONE & 1.6 petrol 2001 2002 2003 2004 2005 2006 & MINI ONE & 1.6 petrol 2004 2005 2006 2007 2008 DOES NOT FIT DIESELS OR S(Big vent in front of ) The Expansion cap is found on top of a plastic bottle in the engine ,it is at the back near the windscreen wipers and to the left of the battery. Never remove the cap from a hot engine,the cap may 'fly off' on releasing and hot coolant will burn your hand,if you must remove the cap,cover the cap with a suitable cloth,lift the cap slowly to release the pressure,then carefully remove the cap,do not put finger in hot coolant. Older engines use coolant is Blue/Green later engines use Pink,Pink coolant can be used in older engines Blue/Green cannot be used in later engines.Never fill the coolant system with just water as the water will freeze and damage the radiator.Always use plenty of coolant.
