Absolute Angle Measurement Press ON/OFF to power on the device, which will automatically enter absolute angle measurement mode (battery must be installed). It displays the angle between the measuring surface and horizontal level. When the angle between the unit’s working surface and the horizontal plane changes, the displayed value updates accordingly. When both indicator arrows appear on the LCD, the unit’s working surface is not level. If an arrow appears on one side, that side is below horizontal and must be raised to level. An arrow marked "t" indicates the side is above horizontal. When the unit is level, both arrows disappear. 2. Relative Angle Measurement Place the working surface on the reference surface, then press the CAL button to set the display to "0.00". Move the unit to the second surface to be measured; the displayed value is the angle difference between the two surfaces. Press and hold the CAL button for 3–5 seconds to return to absolute measurement mode. 3.
