ESP32-S3 is an MCU chip with integrated 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5 (LE), supporting long range mode (Long Range). ESP32-S3 is equipped with Xtensa® 32-bit LX7 dual-core processor, with a main frequency of up to 240 MHz, built-in 512 KB SRAM (TCM), 45 programmable GPI0 pins and rich communication interfaces. ESP32-S3 supports larger capacity high-speed OctalSPlflash and off-chip RAM to support user-configured data cache and instruction cache. Support AI acceleration ESP32-S3 MCU adds vector instructions for accelerating neural network calculations and signal processing. ESP32-S3 integrates 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n) supporting 40 MHz bandwidth; its low-power Bluetooth subsystem supports Bluetooth5 (LE) and Bluetooth Mesh, and can achieve long-distance communication through Coded PHY and broadcast extension. It also supports 2 Mbps PHY to increase transmission speed and data throughput. The Wi-Fi and Bluetooth LE radio performance of ESP32-S3 are excellent and can work stably even at high temperatures. ESP32-S3 provides a complete security mechanism and protection measures for IoT devices to prevent various malicious attacks and threats. It supports flash encryption based on the AES-XTS algorithm, secure boot based on the RSA algorithm, digital signatures and HMAC.
