To use this governor, you may need to replace the Bluetooth board and controller. B. This governor modifies the scooter's software to increase speed. If your original motor is 250W, achieving higher speeds may be limited, as the motor restricts overall performance. The motor may not support speeds up to 38km/h. For optimal results, replace the motor with a 350W or higher version. C. This product is intended for private use only. The governor has two speed modes: (1) Low speed mode – up to 20km/h (factory default). (2) High speed mode – up to 38km/h. Installation Steps 1. Turn off the scooter. 2. Remove the four screws located under the meter on the scooter’s riser. Keep these screws for reassembly. 3. Open the riser cover. Locate the meter and the connected wire with a middle plug. Disconnect the plug. 4. Insert the governor between the meter and the wire, ensuring proper alignment and avoiding damage to internal pins. 5. Place the governor in the center of the riser and reattach the four screws. 6. Press and hold the power button on the Bluetooth board to turn on the scooter. 7. Press the brake three times, then press the throttle three times. The governor will display the number 38, indicating the firmware update has started. Do not perform any actions until the scooter’s display shows 0. Once the display shows 0, turn off the scooter and restart it. The scooter should now reach a maximum speed of 38km/h.
