1.The ICM-20689 is a 6-axis motion tracking device that combines a 3-axis gyroscope, a 3-axis accelerometer, and a Digital Motion Processor (DMP) in a small 4x4x0.9mm (24-pin QFN) package.
2.A large 4K-byte FIFO reduces traffic on the serial bus interface and reduces power consumption by allowing the system processor to burst read sensor data and then enter a low-power mode.
3.Gyroscope with programmable FSR of ±250°/s, ±500°/s, ±1000°/s, and ±2000°/s.
4.Accelerometer with programmable FSR of ±2g, ±4g, ±8g, and ±16g.
5.EIS FSYNC support.
The ICM-20689 includes an on-chip 16-bit ADC, a programmable digital filter, an embedded temperature sensor, and programmable interrupts. The device has an operating voltage range as low as 1.71V. Communication ports include 2C and 8MHz high-speed SPI.

Functional Description:This module reads data via the I2C interface. The I2C device address is 7 bits long, with the last bit of the 7-bit address determined by the level of the ADO pin. ADO is pulled down to ground by default. Data from the 3-axis gyroscope and 3-axis accelerometer can be read via I2C.
