When the main battery voltage exceeds 13.3V, the main battery charges the auxiliary battery. When the main battery voltage drops below 12.7V, the connection between the main and auxiliary batteries is automatically disconnected, preventing the starter battery from being drained. Automatically connects both batteries during charging and isolates them when charging stops. Ideal for installation in camper vans, 4x4 vehicles, leisure vehicles, and marine applications. Does not use 70A cables as found in some other similarly priced kits. Eliminates voltage drop issues associated with diode-based battery isolators (no 0.6V drop).
