TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT, ATC AND AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF The latest meter for measuring the pH of the water has been equipped with additional amenities that will facilitate the use of the device. The meter has a very sensitive thermometer - its indications appear on a large, legible, backlit display. The ATC (Automatic Temperature Compensation) system ensures that the measurement made with the device is not falsified by changing the temperature of the liquid. This guarantees precise and constant measurement regardless of the place of use of the meter and the conditions in which the test is carried out. The auto-off feature will make the meter display go blank after 5 minutes of inactivity, and the energy will be saved for longer. Calibration should be performed in conditions where the liquid with the buffer reaches the appropriate temperature - 25 . Use the 3 sachets included in the kit and prepare 3 solutions (dissolve each sachet in 250 ml of distilled water). Immerse the tester electrode in a solution of pH 6.86 (at 25 ) and wait for the reading to stabilize. Press the "CAL" button for 5 seconds and release. The display will show flashing "CAL" then flashing 6.86, when it stops flashing, the calibration for this point has been completed. Clean the electrode in distilled water and dry it. Repeat the procedure from steps 2 and 3 for 4.01 and 9.18 pH solutions. Clean the electrode in distilled water and dry it. Place the meter back in the buffer solution to test the calibration. If it is incorrect, repeat the calibration. MEASUREMENT METHOD: Remove the device cap. Crystals appearing on the surface of the electrode are a natural phenomenon, they should be removed before taking the measurement. Immerse the device in water up to the level marked on the housing. Stir gently, wait about 30 seconds for the reading on the display to stabilize. By pressing the HOLD button you will hold the selected measurement value on the display. Read the measurement when finished. Remember to dry the device after each measurement. You can protect the electrodes with a special electrode storage liquid. ATTENTION! If the readings of the same liquid differ, calibrate the meter using the solutions provided in the kit and the calibration button on the housing.
