The quickLIGHT is a high-performance waterproof tinder designed to ignite quickly and burn hot to help start a fire when needed. This tinder can be used with a fire starter, matches, or a lighter (sold separately). Each package includes 12 pieces of tinder. No-mess tinder made from dry-treated cotton, clean to the touch. Extremely easy to light, even with a small spark. Can be ignited using a ferrocerium rod or a sparker. To use, pull apart and fluff the end to maximize surface area, then apply a spark. The tinder burns for 1–2 minutes; often, only a few seconds of flame are needed to ignite a tinder bundle. Can be snuffed out and reused later. Water-resistant: Dry-treated cotton beads up water to prevent absorption. Before lighting, shake off moisture and fluff the end with dry hands. Made in the USA.
