The coil of the solenoid valve must be removed before desoldering the four-way valve to prevent damage during welding. 2. Wrap the four-way valve with a damp cloth before desoldering and ensure proper welding technique. Avoid direct flame heating on the valve body. 3. When replacing the four-way valve assembly, immerse it in water if possible. Use a method of removing one port and welding one port to maintain proper alignment. 4. During installation, wrap the four-way valve with a damp cloth and direct the welding flame away from the valve body. 5. To ensure high-quality copper pipe welding, silver-containing brazing filler metal is recommended. If unavailable, copper-phosphorus brazing filler metal with flux can be used. 6. When welding, use nitrogen purging if possible to minimize oxidation. After welding, purge the internal tubing with nitrogen to remove oxides. During cooling, take precautions to prevent moisture ingress.
