The 16-pin type is provided here as it is the most common type. The 6-pin and 15-pin versions are not interchangeable. If your -CD player or HiFi comes with an SF-P101N laser, you can replace the entire mechanism, providing a very effective repair as all moving parts in the -CD reading mechanism will be replaced. Do not touch the area around the laser diode or actuator. Remember to remove the jumper (short-circuit diode) after the repair is complete and leave it open.
