The BMS is designed for 5S Li-ion batteries, primarily used in power tools. It uses a dedicated IC for 5S lithium batteries to monitor real-time cell voltage, charge/discharge current, and ambient temperature. It provides stable protection functions including overcharge protection, over-discharge protection, and short-circuit protection. Low power consumption: operating current approximately 25 µA, standby current approximately 6 µA. Selecting the correct protection board and applying it properly is essential for battery longevity.
