This is the official map covering the central section of the Trans Pennine Trail (map 2 of a series of 3 maps). It shows the routes between Penistone to the village of Sprotbrough near Doncaster. This map also covers the north-south section of the Trail between Leeds and the Derbyshire town of Chesterfield. This central section of the Trans Pennine Trail covers an amazing range of sights and scenes as the route passes through countryside, towns and cities of the North of England; on historic railway routes, packhorse trails and canal towpaths; woodland bridleways and riverside paths. Fully revised in 2015, this map shows walking, cycling, and horse riding (where available) for the central section of the Trans Pennine Trail.
